About this tool
SVG is a vector format, so it can be rendered at any size without losing sharpness. Many apps, slide decks and social sites still want a bitmap, though. Enter a width (for example 1024 px) or a scale factor and the SVG is drawn fresh at that size rather than stretched.
External fonts and linked images referenced by the SVG cannot be loaded for security reasons; convert text to outlines in your design app for exact results.
Frequently asked questions
Will the PNG keep a transparent background?
Yes. PNG and WebP keep transparency. JPG fills transparent areas with the background color you pick.
What size should I export?
Use 2× the size it will be displayed at for sharp results on high-density screens, for example 512 px for a 256 px icon.
Why does my text look different?
If the SVG uses a font that isn’t installed on your device, a fallback font is used. Outline the text in your editor to fix it.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. ConvertBrightly processes files with JavaScript inside your browser. Nothing is sent over the network, and the files disappear when you close the tab. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads.
