About this tool
Numbers are drawn in Helvetica on top of each page, without changing existing content. Use {n} for the page number and {total} for the total, for example Page {n} of {total}. Turn on “Skip first page” for documents with a cover.
Frequently asked questions
Can I start numbering at a different number?
Yes, set the start number, for example 5 for an appendix.
Can I skip the cover page?
Yes. Tick “Skip first page” and numbering starts on page 2 at your start number.
Can I remove the numbers later?
Not easily, because they become part of the page. Keep your original file.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. ConvertBrightly processes files with JavaScript inside your browser. Nothing is sent over the network, and the files disappear when you close the tab. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads.
