Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
Cookies and similar technologies (like local storage) are small files stored by your browser. Here is how we use them. Your files are never stored in cookies or sent anywhere; they are processed only on your device.
Types of cookies
| Category | Purpose | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Remember your light/dark theme and cookie choices. | Local storage: theme, consent |
| Advertising | Show personalized ads (with consent where required) or non-personalized ads, limit repetition, measure performance and prevent fraud. | Cookies, pixels and device identifiers set by our ad partners and their vendors, e.g. Google AdSense/DoubleClick (__gads, __gpi, IDE). Names vary by network. |
Third-party ad partners
Ads are provided by third-party ad partners, which set and read their own cookies and similar technologies. Current partners: Google AdSense. The full list, what they collect and their required disclosures are in our Privacy Policy.
Your choices
Visitors in regions that require consent will see a consent banner from our consent management platform, where you can accept, reject or customize cookies at any time. You can also:
- Opt out of personalized Google ads at Google Ads Settings.
- Opt out of many ad vendors at the NAI and DAA (aboutads.info) opt-out pages, or on mobile with the YourAdChoices (AppChoices) app.
- Enable Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser; we treat it as an opt-out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising (your state privacy rights).
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings (some features may not work).
